Editorial practice and technology for scholarly publishing
Specialists in XML‑JATS, academic books, and end‑to‑end editorial workflows for journals. A sober approach designed for social sciences and humanities—without “lab science” clichés.
Focus & conditions
This site brings together services designed for teams with limited budgets: independent journals, self‑managed projects, and small publishers funding their own operations. For projects with substantial institutional funding, we apply standard market‑rate fees.
Who this is for
We prioritize independent teams and editor‑run journals. When a project has substantial institutional funding, we offer services at standard market‑rate fees, without cross‑subsidies.
Chilean public institutions
If the client is a Chilean public institution, we can work through Mercado Público or other formal procurement modalities, with scope and pricing aligned to the project.
Responsible tool use
Some tools are designed for direct editorial use by a team. We do not authorize resale as an “intermediated service” or price‑arbitrage use against third parties.
Editorial rigor, technical implementation, and close support
We work with institutions, editorial teams, and research projects that require precision, traceability, and international standards.
Editorial production
Copyediting, style, layout (print/PDF), and manuscript preparation for scholarly publication.
XML‑JATS & conversion
Markup, normalization, and quality control for SciELO JATS, JATS4R, ePUB, and related formats.
Journal infrastructure
OJS implementation and support, peer‑review workflows, editorial roles, and digital preservation.
Persistent identifiers
Design and operation of strategies using ARK, DOI, ORCID, and metadata for visibility and interoperability.
